Merriweather Resort

Excellent location, right across from the beach and an easy walk to everything. Staff is great to work with.

I TOOK A LOOK AT THE RESORT . IT WAS CLEAN, NEAT, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING BUT DATED SOMEWHERE AROUND DON JOHNSON AND MIAMI VICE'S TIME ( A LOT OF WICKER FURNITURE ETC.) BUT , NONE THE LESS, I CONSIDERED BUYING A UNIT. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO MY FIRST INSTINCTS, I COULD HAVE SAVED MYSELF A LOT TIME.THE MANAGER WHO WOULDN'T MOVE FROM HER SEAT AT THE FRONT DESK ON ANY OCCASION THAT I VISITED, BOBBY- SUE OR BILLY-JOE, SOMETHING LIKE THAT, WHINED AND COMPLAINED ABOUT ALL THE WORK SHE HAD TO DO. I MADE AN OFFER ON ONE AND SHE PROMISED TO PRESENT IT TO THE OWNER AND GET BACK TO ME. SHE NEVER DID EVEN THOUGH I FOLLOWED-UP ON IT A COUPLE OF TIMES. FRANK.

Perfect location!! The staff is great and will help with anything you might need. Needs a little paint and cleanup here and there, but the rooms are fine.....will definetely stay again...the best value on the beach!!

I have stayed here on several trips to lauderdale.

This Place is somewhat styled like 60's motel moderately clean and friendly can't beat location always has units for rent call direct to office 1 bedrooms there are less expencive than a room anywere else on beach 1 block from " beach place " steps into ocean free parking and friendly Staff

We stayed here twice. Loved every minute of it. A great location across the street from the ocean. Nice interaction with the people walking on the side walks. Extremely friendly staff. Only problem was the stop and go traffic noise. Directly near a stop light so sometime the motorcycle's would keep us awake but after the fist night, the breeze of the ocean outweighed the noise of the traffic.
