I especially enjoy this resort. The resort is not in the downtown area, but there is no traffic, parking is a dream, and free. Also there are two grocery stores on the way, you can sleep in until 8 or 9 o'clock in the morning, get up, cook a breakfast within a half hour or less, watch TV while you eat, take a shower, and be out on the town by 11:00 AM.
You have a very well designed golf course within 100 yards of your front door, and fishing streams are extremely close by also.
Plus there is a back way into the resort, so you can avoid the Pigeon Forge headache driving in, and checkin is extremely fast, and easy. Very relaxed atmosphere, and the staff is exetremely helpful, and nice. This resort is my favorite for the Gatlinburg area.

Stayed in 1 bedroom unit. Small rooms, long drive to shopping, restaurants, etc. Rooms were clean and staff were very helpful. View of golf course pretty with snow. Half way between Gatlinburg and Cosby Tennessee.

We stayed at this resort for 6 nights during the first week of August 2004 after first staying one night at a hotel in the heart of Gaitlinburg. It was such a relief to get here and spread out in a beautiful 2 bedroom unit far away from all the junky tourist stores, mini- golfs and second class motels. Unlike the previous reviewer, we prefered the drive into town rather than staying in the middle of that mess.
The buildings were well-maintained and well- stocked with necessary supplies. Our 2 bedroom was actually 2 1-bedroom units with adjoining door and provided plenty of space and a second kitchen which we really didn't need. The pool was close - just across the road, but small although never crowded. We ate once at the snack bar by the golf course which was not great. No good restaurants close by - you have to go back towards Gatlinburg - only drawback we saw. Still worth the drive to stay here.

We stayed here the second week in July. While the resort was nice, we would not stay here again. It is a long drive to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and not in the mountains. If you are not a golfer, then it seems to make no since to stay this far from any sort of entertainment. The room, a nice size one bedroom, was very clean and modern but they were having a problem with some sort of beetle. They were all over the bathroom. The patio and screened in porch were very nice with a lovely view but the tenants on either side of your unit could just sit on their deck and look at you. If you're going to Tenn. to golf (who would), then stay here. If you're going to enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountains, then stay in the mountains.
