Traveling, even with your whole family, doesn't need to cost a fortune. If you're looking to cut down on your travel costs this year, consider the following tips:
-
Travel with other families and split the cost
With a two or three bedroom condo, usually with a sleeper sofa in the living area perfect for younger kids, travel costs can be shared between families.
-
Travel close to home
Who says you have to board a plane or drive for days to get to your vacation destination? Why not plan a vacation an hour or two from home? Just getting a change of scenery could be just what you need.
-
Skip dining out, and prepare meals in
Dining out can be a significant budget-killer & can make travel prohibitive. Get a unit with a full kitchen, pack a cooler, or hit the local grocery stores, and you can avoid spending more on food than you would if you had stayed home.

Although your resort may not require that you pay your maintenance fees
before making your reservation for advance years, you must pre-pay these
fees before making your deposit into RedWeek Exchange. This rule is
important for us to ensure that we have locked-in your week before
assigning it to someone else on exchange. Otherwise, if an owner
defaults later on a maintenance fee, the reservation may be canceled,
leaving the exchange guest out in the cold.
To pre-pay your maintenance fees, please contact your resort and ask
for an assessment for the year you'd like to deposit. Then, just
submit your payment before depositing your week with RedWeek Exchange.
If you don't do this, your deposit will need to be canceled.

"We loved the Westin Kierland Villas. Villas are beautiful and spacious. Pools and grounds were wonderful. Enjoyed using the resort's pools, lazy river and spa which are available to villa guests. Kierland Commons was within walking distance which provided 12 restaurants and 50 high end retailers. Gorgeous mountain and golf course views. Grocery & Target nearby. A perfect family vacation for Spring Break, Christmas or Thanksgiving."
