Ask the Timeshare Crusader
Our "Ask the Timeshare Crusader" series continues this month with a question from DJ:
I am very confused by the weeks classifications — red, yellow, green, etc. Do all resorts follow the same classification system? If not, how am I supposed to know which are "prime" weeks?
I can understand your confusion with the colors at the different resorts. Interval International wisely did away with their red, yellow, and green color codes some years ago and replaced them with the vastly improved and accurate "Travel Demand Index." I would not be surprised at all to hear that RCI does away with their red, white, and blue color coding system in the next year or two…

"My wife and I went over to spend some time at one of our unit weeks in the Courts. It was still in beautiful shape for its age. We enjoyed some exceptional games in the sand and the water. The food we had at Zimmis was excellent. Loved the sauna and the hot tubs. Just walking the grounds every day relaxed me in a way no other resort does. I love to travel but haven't found another resort that compares to Vistana for FAMILY FUN."
