Ask the Timeshare Crusader
Our "Ask the Timeshare Crusader" series continues this month with the following question from Juan:
I've received an e-mail from a company that is asking me to pay them money and designate them as my proxy at my resort's annual HOA Meeting. I will be unable to attend the meeting, and I'm interested in hearing what the resort has to say. But I'm a bit leery. Should I go with this company?
You are right to be leery. Although attending and participating in annual HOA meetings is vital for all timeshare owners, this screams of just another scheme designed to rip timeshare owners off… Read Lisa's full answer »

As owners for the past 8 years we certainly enjoy our annual week. It has a great many benefits that we like including the easy accessibility. We live in Minnesota and we just fly down to Orlando Airport, rent a car and drive the short distance to Ron Jons. Some of the other pluses include: the awesome pool area, the activities program, the very good food and beverage services, the clean and comfortable units with great views of the ocean or Canaveral activities, the beach accessability, and the closeness to the Orlando attractions… and these are all at one resort.
