Starwood Opens 150th Hotel in Asia Pacific

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. recently opened its 150th hotel in Asia Pacific – the ITC Royal Gardenia, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Bengaluru. The opening of the 292-room hotel in India is part of Starwood’s long-term strategic growth plans in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to this new hotel, Starwood also opened seven others earlier this year and still have seven more slated to open before the end of 2009.
