Timeshare Vacation – Easter in Paris

Paris is arguably one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and especially so in spring. A timeshare vacation to Paris for Easter will be an experience the entire family will remember.

Include these activities in your Paris Easter plans:

1. Centre of National Monuments Easter Hunt. This institution is responsible for the management of most of the famous monuments and museums in France. For Easter the organization invites families to participate in treasure hunting activities in its different castles, archaeological sites, forts and gardens.

Re-discovering Easter through history in this fun and original way, you will search for clues, solving enigmas related to the history, architecture and the great historical characters that inhabited the different places where the hunt takes place. The reward at the end of the game: chocolate eggs for everyone!

2. Easter Services at Notre Dame de Paris (see top photo). Attend Easter Sunday services at one of the world’s most celebrated cathedrals. You’ll experience a Catholic service with Easter prayers and beautiful Gregorian chants on Easter Sunday.

There are also several Easter services planned for the Monday following Easter. Services are for the public and free – booking is neither necessary nor possible. You are advised to arrive early as Easter services fill up quickly. Be advised that all services are in French, unless the service is stipulated as an International service in which case both French and English are used.

3. Chocolate and Sweets. For most people, no Easter would be complete without chocolate. Luckily, Paris boasts some of the finest chocolate makers in the world, and Easter is a major occasion for these artisans and cocoa experts to show off their talents.

Hit Fauchon(Metro Madeleine) for particularly spectacular chocolate Easter eggs, chickens and bells, and other concoctions. (In France there is no Easter Bunny – instead a church bell that has been blessed in Rome flies over the country dispensing Easter goodies to children.) Patrick Roger’s boutique on Boulevard St Germain is also usually host to some spectacular Easter creations fashioned out of chocolate.

4. Paris City Parks. To truly enjoy the beauty of Easter in springtime Paris, organize your own Easter goodies hunt in one of Paris’s exceptional parks. Many unusual Easter confections can be found in the local Paris supermarkets if you don’t want to pay the prices of the high-end chocolatiers.

Easter in Paris can be budget-friendly with a Paris timeshare rental.
