The report also indicated that the Americas welcomed 163 million international tourists in 2012, up 7 million (+5%) on the previous year. The region maintained its share of worldwide arrivals at 16%, while its share of receipts was up by one percentage point to 20%.

But for now, France is Number One. From glittering Paris to rolling vineyards, from the French Riviera to the French Alps, France is a country that offers something for everyone.

For the tried and true, but with that special French flair, of course, you do know there is a Paris Disneyland?

Or get off the beaten path and enjoy the charming village of Conques (see center photo) where no cars are allowed, tour the east coast of Corsica, explore the island of Ouessant off the coast of Brittany (see bottom photo), ponder the cliffs of Normandy (see top photo).

You’ll be planning a timeshare vacation to France year after year to get it all seen and experienced. Many places you’ll enjoy exploring are an easy train ride out of Paris.

There are great French timeshare rentals and timeshare exchanges available.
