Is that true? Did you experience this yourself? what about all these things they saying? For example, one of the attorney I contacted in Mexico is saying that in order to travel to mexico, if you owe a debt there, you have to pay it first before you can go back to mexico. That's what I was told, but thinking about it, how would they know you owe money there to the country of Mexico?

I believe that they can't take you to collections because they never got your SSN either, so there's no way they can send you to collections.
