    Fixed Week 50

    Per the owner: When we first visited Shawnee, we were so excited with the scenery and the possibility of sharing our timeshare with our children during mid-December – skiing and snowboarding and enjoying the outdoors with them the entire week before Christmas. This gave us the ability to still be home during Christmas week to partake in our traditional festivities. Our children were so excited to have both options each year and were always so thrilled to have two Christmas “presents” as they used to say - a vacation one week before Christmas and Christmas Day with gifts from Santa. Our Unit overlooks the golf course, snow laded at this time of year, and is a short walk to the main lodge where we enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine by the fireplace. Seeing deer crossing the golf course during a snowfall is something special. The ski slopes are just a short drive away and the offerings they provide are excellent.

    The accommodations in our unit, which sleeps 8 comfortably are wonderful, and the cleanliness of our unit is great. Everything needed is provided except personal products. We usually prepare breakfast casserole foods in advance, make chili in advance and other similar meals and keep them frozen so we can just pop them in the oven or microwave. We even cooked on the grille outside in the snow which most don’t even consider. It was fabulous.

    Our week also allowed us to have siblings and other relatives visit with us because they were not infringing on their upcoming Christmas holiday. This gave them a relaxing vacation, which many people don’t think to enjoy at that time of year!

    There are fantastic restaurants and other attractions in the area for those nights we all go out with the group and relax.

    We are retired now. And as much as we have enjoyed our Timeshare, it’s time to “share” it with someone who wants to experience the same joy we have received throughout our ownership. Being able to “pay it forward” to someone else is our personal desire. That’s why we are offering our unit at zero cost.
