PER OWNER: My first impression of Schooners was the large rooms, nice appliances and storage everywhere. Of course, then units 1, 2, and 3 were built. Later units 4 and 5 were completed which are smaller compared to the older units. Another point at the time was that the property owned that part of the beach. Something very uncommon for an Oregon property. As the years have passed, there is a large beach due to erosion and access through another property assures the owners' ability to get to that beach forever. In order to retard the erosion, the owners have taken it upon themselves to be proactive and have added a complicated well system of removing water after severe rains quickly; thus, reducing erosion and protecting the property for years to come. Lastly, the Oregon coast is very pretty. We always enjoy the sunsets while having a bonfire watching the kids play at the playground within sight. I haven't seen that yet at other beach properties.
