The Pines at Island Park About the Resort

« Back to resort

Nestled in the shadows of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains, The Pines is secluded within Targhee National Forest. You are minutes away from beautiful Yellowstone National Park, where you will find abundant wildlife and spectacular scenery. Fishing is a popular pastime here, with rivers, streams, lakes, and reservoirs all within close proximity. Visit Henry's Fork of the Snake River, Island Park Reservoir, Henry's Lake, and the Madison River, where the fish are plentiful and outfitters and guides are available. You may wish to wade in the stream or take on the full excitement of white water rafting. During the colder months, this area becomes a winter playground. Island Park is known as the snowmobiling capital of the world, with over 600 miles of groomed trails. Pine furniture decorates each cabin with accents of leather, tapestries, and quality furnishings and linens. Each cabin also boasts a full kitchen, loft, washer/dryer, and cozy fireplace. This is a great vacation destination any time of the year.
