Perched at an elevation of 2410 meters above sea level, Binsar gives you spectacular views of the Himalayan mountain range. Binsar is the epitome of serenity and tranquility. Surrounded by abundant garlands of alpine flora, ferns, hanging moss and many other species of wild flowers, this is as close as you would get to heaven! The dense Binsar wildlife sanctuary is home to over 200 species of birds and animals like the barking deer, the flying squirrel and the Himalayan bear to name a few. Places to visit include the Bineshwar Mahadev Temple besides trips to Almora (see the Kasardevi temple, Nainital Dewal zoo), Nainital and Ranikhet offering a very nice choice of things to do.

The Valley Resort offers a balcony in all the rooms overlooking the valley. The state of the art cottages perfectly blend in to the beautiful surroundings.
