Mountain Villas have anl upscaled rustic feel. There are several pools and game rooms. The adult gym and sauna are new and impressive! The staff makes golfing with the family very enjoyable! Booking is so easy. We've had several family reunions without problems. We love it here!

We moved into the Mountain Villas after a week in the Resort Villas. The resort allowed us to stay in the Resort Villa until our Mountain Villa was ready to occupy. We called the resort a week prior to our arrival with room location requests. Requests were granted. One request was for a corner unit top floor which allows for a larger deck. Our unit was as requested on the top floor #3931 (18 steps from the ground level) but located on the end villa next to the pool with the water slide next to the deck. Next time we will move a distance from the pool. The weather was cool but they keep the pool very swimmable during the whole year. We did have a nice view of the fairway and surrounding mountains. The deluxe one bedroom villa is 851 square feet. A much smaller feel than the Resort Villas with their two bedrooms and two baths. Two fireplaces, one in the living room area and another in the bedroom, were great for taking the chill off on the November mornings. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The adult spa is located in a quiet spot surrounded by rocks and was enjoyed be many guests. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, there is another located in the Villas on the Greens at the Boulder Springs Clubhouse. The Welk Resort is first class all the way. So many activities to choose from and the Monday Farmers Market feature many vendors along with the fresh produce. We attended the presentation and received theatre tickets for the “illusions” show which was excellent, also a $60.00 AMEX card. They are selling points and the 90 minutes was quite low key. The Cascade and Teton Building have three floors; entry is on the middle floor with 18 steps up to the top floor, I don’t recall how many steps down to the bottom floor. The rooms on the bottom floor of the Cascade (below us) have virtually no view, only rocks towards the pool side.

We have stayed there for spring break every year for the past three years. We love it. Great with the kids. Great weather, safe and clean.

We spent a week at Welk’s Mountain Springs villas during August 2010, and it was great! Everything was almost perfect. Villas are new (build in 2009), very clean, shower has very good pressure, jacuzzi tub was nice, mattress, blankets and pillows were very comfortable. I brought my own pillow and blanket and it turned out I didn’t need them. Noise level is minimum; we didn’t hear anyone even though people lived in the units next to us. Only in the last 2 days we heard family with lots of kids upstairs. We were close to the pool and didn’t need to drive, which was very convenient. Water slide was nice and not too fast, my 6 y.o. had so much fun at the splash zone. There was also so much to do there during the day. We rented fishing poles and bought bait and went to Welk’s fishing lake to fish one afternoon, visited their famous theater to see family comedy and magic show (we laughed so hard!), roasted marshmallows at the fire pit, watched dive in movies, participated in Festival under the stars with DJ, food, wine tasting and crafts for kids, farmers market was very nice. We ate at Grill Canyon twice, I would give it 3 stars, they could have more variety of dishes, but it was still nice and very convenient. The only thing we didn't like is check out time - 10 am (too early for us, late sleepers) + we were rushed. At 9:59 am there was a pounding at the door, and cleaning people said something like, "You're still here?"... Also, since we were on the 1st level, we had to drag everything down, and there is no elevator! Good thing one of the cleaning guy helped me to get my suit case out. Drag it downstairs is kinda OK, but upstairs.... hmmm... almost impossible for such a weak woman like me :-) But we’ll definitely be back again.

Excellent facilities. Well maintained. Staff very responsive. Stayed one week and plan to return. There is a full time Dentist and Physician on grounds. They have regular practice for community residents but are available to guests of the resort. Also have a Farmer's Market one day per week on grounds.

A great resort in a very good location, can't say anything negative, just beware of the sales pitch. Escondido is close and has what you need for everyday supplies. We've been to more then 15 resorts, most Gold Crown and this was the best.

Wow! The most amazing Welk resort thus far. They haven't spared a dime on the decor of the place and there is a vast number of activities. Looking forward to our next visit there.
