La Tranquila Resort lives up to its name - a splendid tropical oasis set on one of Mexico's most serene beaches. Lush mangroves ring the grounds, and the six-story resort faces the splendor of the Pacific Ocean head-on. No matter what your idea of relaxation may encompass, La Tranquila is well-equipped to cater to any assortment of interests. Take a dip in one of six unique swimming pools or nine family-size Jacuzzis scattered about the property, or even the beachside infinity pool! Test your golf skills at the 18-hole Greg Norman golf course or sample authentic Mexican cuisine as well as Asian-infused creations at the two restaurants onsite. At the end of the day, enjoy a relaxing evening drink around the one of many outdoor fireplaces. Best of all, La Tranquila's all-inclusive plan makes it easy to focus on fun and not your budget.

Four different unit types are offered at La Tranquila. The Tranquila Suite is the equivalent of a studio unit with several luxurious additions including a private resting pool, 42" television and Bose sound equipment, as well as the standard studio comforts. The Serena Suite boasts three bedrooms as well a full kitchen, fully furnished balcony with a breakfast table and a washer and dryer. The Brisa Residence is by far the most impressive of La Tranquila's lineup - three expansive bedrooms, a specious kitchen, expansive dining room and a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean define this villa. As well as the standard comforts of the Tranquila and Serena Suites, the Brisa Residence also features a Jacuzzi in the master bedroom.

The Riviera Nayarit area is unknown to most vacationers despite it's beautiful jungles, beaches and mountains. The diverse terrain invites more adventurous pursuits and thrill-seekers won't be able to resist trail rides over both mountains and beaches in the area. Of course, beach pursuits such as scuba diving, windsurfing, yachting and fish excursions are all popular. Bustling Puerto Vallarta is fifty miles south and makes for an excellent day trip of shopping and dining among a traditional Mexican ambiance. Fifteen minutes south is Sayulita, a charming surfing town with a laid-back attitude and a gorgeous beach!
