Christel House International
Randy and Sharon Conrads of RedWeek.com have supported Christel House since 2005. In 2007, the Conrads created the RedWeek.com Challenge to help spur new and increased gifts to Christel House from the timeshare industry. That challenge raised $50,000, which the Conrads matched dollar-for-dollar. To date, the RedWeek.com Challenge has raised nearly $500,000.

The mission of Christel House International is to help children around the world break the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient, contributing members of their societies. Providing food, shelter and medical care are fundamental components of poverty alleviation. The holistic and transformational approach of Christel House expands beyond basic survival needs and addresses the problem through long-term, systemic interventions and human transformation.

Operation Homefront
RedWeek.com chooses Operation Homefront as one of our primary recipients of charitable donations. About Operation Homefront
Operation Homefront provides emergency assistance and morale to our troops, to the families they leave behind, and to wounded warriors when they return home. A nonprofit 501(c)3 founded after September 11, Operation Homefront leads more than 4,000 volunteers in 31 chapters nationwide. Since its inception, the organization has provided critical assistance to more than 45,000 military families in need.
Operation Homefront provides aid to families struggling not only with emergencies, but also the problems of everyday life. Existing programs include:
- Emergency Aid - Food, baby care items, vehicle donation and repair.
- Computer Program - Allows children and spouses to stay in touch with their loved one.
- Financial Assistance Program - Crises such as illness, homelessness and death.
- Furniture Program - Donated household and baby furniture; working appliances.
- Moving - Providing physical labor for families when a service member is deployed.
- Social Outreach - Adopt-a-family, Thanksgiving/holiday baskets, back-to-school supplies.
Vine Maple Place
Vine Maple Place is a Christian organization that helps homeless families with children build lives of hope, stability, and greater self-sufficiency by providing them with transitional housing and support services.
Recognizing the urgent need for affordable housing for homeless parents and children, several Maple Valley churches joined with the community in 2000 to acquire and refurbish eight rundown apartment units in Maple Valley and Vine Maple Place was born. In 2002, professional case management services were added, and in 2007, six more refurbished apartment homes were opened about two miles from the original location. Since its inception,Vine Maple Place has focused on the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of the families as well as the need for safe, affordable housing.

Vision House
Vision House provides permanent housing for low income and homeless HIV/AIDS affected individuals and their families. The majority of Vision House clients find it difficult to secure permanent housing due to unemployment, chemical dependence, mental illness, and low income. These hardships are only compounded by the infection of HIV/AIDS.
Vision House also provides a safe haven for children of families affected by HIV/AIDS at their Children's Place at Vision House facility. Children's Place provides specialized day care and early childhood learning for approximately 60 HIV/AIDS affected pre-school age children living in the Grant Boulevard neighborhood of Chicago's South Side. The new facility offers supportive services for HIV/AIDS affected families. Clients include children and families who live at Vision House, a residential program for persons living with HIV/AIDS, as well as others in the community affected by HIV/AIDS.
