Grandview is very nice and although construction was going on, it didn't bother us at all. Three suggestions for a grand experience: Do Batista's Hole In The Wall restaurant, and let Gordy serenade you with his accordion (he's been there as long as the restaurant), go to the Plaza Hotel and Casino and have dinner at Center Stage while the lights of Fremont street dazzle you (both can be found online), go to the Fontana night club at the bellagio and ask to sit outside to watch the fountains while having an after dinner cocktail... my wife and I watched the fountains for hours there.
