Ah, the lies the upfront fee salespeople spew. You [b]CAN[/b] sell your timeshare yourself on Redweek if you price it right. The upfront fee salesperson (johnnny) probably quoted you an unrealistic price of what your timeshare is supposedly worth so he could get your upfront fee, although he [b]KNEW[/b] that you would never get anywhere near that amount on the resale market. Keep dropping your price on Redweek until you start getting some emails. You will take a substanital loss on your timeshare if you bought from the developer or if you overpaid via resale.
