Our 2B had 2 Balconies and the spare actually had 2 full beds. There are 2B with 1 balcony, which may have a different configuration. Not sure about stealing. We felt very safe, but also are careful to not leave our unit unlocked or valuables out. There is a digital safety box in the closet. Easy to use. Having the hotel/resort on the propery increases the number of staff available. We found this to be a great service. Perhaps others had a problem, but woulndn't let that negatively influence your trip. Take simple steps and you'll be fine.
