I began this topic, and just as an update I want to report that my eBay purchase is complete and I am very happy with it! Although the actual value of an RCI point is still a mystery to me, I've got enough of the things to be able to vacation to my satisfaction. I will report on my personal experience with eBay in the "Buying and Selling" forum.
