I emailed Starwood to advise them that my unit was sold and that the new owner would pay the refurbishment costs and this is what I got back.. There are no benefits owning here at all and I own 4 of them! Once documentation is received evidencing conveyance of the interest or transfer of title, your name will be removed from this account and you will no longer be subject to collection efforts. Your name will not be removed until this documentation is received. " Wow for all the maintence fees and refurbishment costs that I have paid they give you no grace period at all!!!! Don't ever buy new from them you will be wasting your money . Just to the presentation and get the free gift.. Only buy resale .
