Mariott has now gone to a point system for their time share units. They are no longer selling weeks but selling points. Just talked with a Marriott representative regarding the weeks I own. Rep said week owners can still book their home resorts. Current weekly owners have to pay an initial fee plus annual fee to get into the point system for internal Marriott trades.
