Apparently (based on information reported in the Bill Marriott blog) Marriott will now have the right to snatch up all Interval International Marriott weeks that have been deposited, and can then use this inventory for their own points program. Does anyone know if this accurate? If so, there will be no chance to do II Marriott to Marriott trades as in the past. Also, if I read it right, once you enroll in the points program, you would no longer have the option of renting out your reserved weeks yourself. Does anyone know anything about this?
