I don't find it credible that Marriott would not allow access to third party owners. I do find it credible that a Marriott sales person would say this as they wish to make the sale. The larger questions is: since everyone wishes to sell their unit at some point, what role is Marriott going to play on sales transactions -- either points or units? Also, since they wish to get everyone on points, their current strategy of not allowing third party purchasers to "buy in" is not understandable. What do they expect deed owners to do when they no longer wish to have the unit?
