Having recently spent several weeks here in December 2010, I thought I would update a few things. The 2 BR unit I had was clean but dated. They are in the process of upgrading the units. The facilities are the same as noted in previous posts. There is now a Casino on site. They built a new parking garage for the hotel and casino guests. The timehares have their own gated parking with no fee. There has been an increase in the number of equipment rentals at the beach, more kayaks and paddle boats. The Hyatt Hotels mentioned previously are no longer open, but they are constructing a new hotel (Ritz Carlton I believe) at the old Hyatt Dorado Beach location.
