I attempted to get rid of my Club Regina/Raintree Vacation Club timeshare by donating it, as well. The charity sat on it for over a year before they said they didn't want it. The only way I got rid of it was to put a $1.00 price tag on it and agree to split the maintenance fee with the buyer.
