I did not walk away, but I did not pay my maintenance fees and they just took the points away. I had them paid in full. They just took them away. I still had a bunch of other points but they were not paid for so they did not take those away. However, there is a clause in the club rules that allows them to take away your points when you don't pay maintenance fees.
