Is there any EFFECTIVE way to dump a wyndham timeshare...???

[Q=jayjay] [Q=pamj77] We've called two different companies and told them we can't afford it any more and they took them back, no questions asked. We lost $$ and weeks, but we don't have to pay for them anymore.[/Q] Some resorts and timeshare corporations will take deedbacks however you would have to contact Wyndham directly .... I've never heard of Wyndham taking deedbacks.[/Q] My aunt recently got her Wyndham taken back, at a significant loss to her. Her accountant and her attorney both told her to ignore Wyndham's insistence that she owed them money. In the end Wyndham took back the deed and let her go without any credit damage at all. I think she had significantly more points than 100K and she'd been with Wyndham for 25 years or something, though. Never hurts to ask, either way.
