Make a call to your home resort and ask a few questions and let them know that you intend to get rid of your timeshare. Hopefully they will transfer you to the right person to talk to. It doesn't work for everyone but be persistant. It worked for me after they realized it was in their best interest to work with me. It helps to be prepared with a forceful arguement in your favor.
