Re: Has anyone used Timeshare Realty Specialists

I was cold called by this company this week. Out of curiosity I called back because I am considering selling one of our timeshares. I got transferred to a fast talking, pushy woman with a British accent named Ramona. While she was pleasant, I couldn't get a word in edgewise. She offered a guaranteed sales price of a minimum of $24,500 and up to $28,000 (selling for a fraction of that on E-Bay). They wanted a listing fee of $1,400.00 plus change. She said they would seek out buyers and refer them directly to me. My husband and I are co-owners and we live in a community property state--Ramona insisted that I didn't need his permission to go forward with the listing agreement with them. I don't feel strongly enough or have enough data to call them a scam---but, I can say with confidence something is fishy. I ended the conversations by saying I wasn't interested in selling after all.
