If you bought at one of those presentations, I strongly suggest that you rescind your purchase if you are still within the 5-day period. Secondly, how do you know that "The vacation rental and the service is definitely exceptional"? Did you actually stay there for a week or were you shown this by the sales person? Also, buying in Mexico is generally not recommended because you can usually rent from an owner for less than the maintenance fees. Also, when the time comes that you no longer want your unit, it can be a headache to try to rid yourself of ownership.
