Have you tried contacting the resort, explaining your situation, and asked if it would take your unit back? If that does not work, try advertising here on RedWeek's Bargain Basement that you want to give your unit away and that you will even pay closing costs. But never, ever pay anyone a large, upfront fee to sell, rent out, market, or "cancel" your timeshare.
