NEVER pay anyone money upfront to take the timeshare out of your name. How can you be sure they will take your title and not just your money. Can you imagine paying this company all that money and then finding out that you still own your timeshare and now you are delinquent on the next years maintenance fees. If you want to be able to sleep at night find another way to get rid of it. First try calling the resort and telling them that you are getting rid of it and they can work with you to take it back through a " deed back " or you will find another way to get rid of it and it is to their advantage to work with you. I got rid of two timeshares in 2011 that way and all I had to pay was a minimal fee to process the paperwork. It might take a few phone calls to get in touch with the right person who handles those transactions but it's well worth the effort.
