If New York has a Transient Occupancy Tax, as California has had for decades, the revenue stream to the City of NY from renting TMC rooms on a per night basis would be huge. This could be a dis-incentive for ruling in favor of the Owners. I don't know a lot about NY politics ---just raising this point as a possibility. Betty
