You made a statement - The truth is that legally, you can actually just stop paying your maintenance fees and nothing will happen to your credit score. The only thing that will happen is that you will receive lots of calls from them (since they have a team of people that are paid to call you and convince you to keep paying). And, guess what, they actually earn a commission when they do convince you. They will also send you notifications of payment due, pass due, etc. and you can just ignore them as well. How do you know if wont effect your credit ??
