The housekeeping fee that is part of the MF's is only enough to pay for a single cleaning between each guest check in and check out. Some resorts also as a part of that fee have a midweek tidy. The fee does not cover daily housekeeping. When Marriott rents out the unit through there hotel division and includes daily housekeeping (not all do even through the hotel division) they add in the extra charge for the daily housekeeping to the person booking the unit. In the resorts that provide it daily for hotel booked stays the daily housekeeping is mandatory and is charged in the room fee as such. That is one of the reason why that $2500 MF unit rents on Marriott.com for $900 a night for the two bedroom unit .
