At most times to rents at the Marriott Surf Club the price per night is less than $300.00 Sometimes you can find rooms via the Wyndham Vacations site as they are an RCI company. So I can rent via an RCI company and not pay $150.00 for the reservation book. I bet in the near future the number of timeshare companies will dwindle to a few. Rules will change and I’m sure not for the good of the timeshare owners. There are houses at the beach in Aruba for rent for a month at about the same price you pay for a one week timeshare. If you don’t need the kitchen or washing machines and hot tubs in your rental it’s time to start thinking hotel. You can cancel hotel reservations or even timeshare rentals without the threat of use it or lose it. Why can’t you cancel and delay your timeshare use from one year to another without fees?
