I gave back two timeshares in 2011 and got nothing for them . It was the best decision I made in a long time . Since then my savings account has grown very large . Look at the big picture . You don't get any money now but the savings in the future will make up for that and then some . Remember all those costs associated with having to travel every year also go away .
