Hyatt Main Street Station (by Howard S.):

I own two timeshare units at Hyatt Main Street Station in Breckenridge.

I don't live in Colorado and have never stayed at the property. I bought it for the 1,920 Hyatt points I get each year, but I am not traveling as much.

There is a realtor that worked for Hyatt I believe when I bought it that now seems to be the one that sells most of them. It seems to have a lot of inventory.

I do not owe anything on the 2 units just the annual maintenance. I am looking to just give them away, I am only asking the buyer to pay the transfer fee and any closing cost. I asked Hyatt about the first right of refusal and they said it doesn't apply if you give it away.

Has anyone had any experience "giving away" a Hyatt Vacation Club. I just want to be very careful that the buyer isn't someone trying to tie me up and then go and try and sell it.
