There are SO many rental outlets now that people have to be very competetive in pricng their own rentals. Ebay is just one of many rental outlets that's hugely popular. The internet has changed timesharing (rentals and sales) forever. People are looking for the best deal they can get while surfing those both rental and sales sites.

Concerning the New Years rental unit above in Orlando at Westgate, Orlando is saturated with every kind of vacation rental known to man ... even nice houses at decent prices.

Many timeshare salespeople tell prospective buyers that they can easily rent out their timeshare if they don't want to use it. This is simply not true, especially in overdeveloped areas such as Orlando. It's a sales ploy ... they make it sound so easy.
