I'm new here - and I wished I had read this before I made the mistake of paying upfront to list my timeshare. :( Has anyone who is in Florida (Orlando) heard of Land Ahoy Properties? They called saying they were a certified Fairfield Timeshare reseller (my timeshare is with Fairfield) and offered to list my timeshare to sell and rent the extra points.

Seeing as how I made a big mistake when I bought my timeshare and am kind of desperate to sell it, I fell for it and paid the fee. The guy, Chris Baldwin, told me his company has a showroom and has events where they bring in people to sell timeshares too. He said they had call centers where people could also call in to purchase points. Chris knew about the amount I financed to buy this timeshare (I live in CA) so I felt confident with him.

If anyone out there lives in Orlando, can you tell me if you have heard of this company and if they are legit? So far he has been good about keeping in touch with me - he said they make their money off the financing of the timeshare - but reading everyone's warnings has given me this huge sense of foreboding that I just wasted a TON of money.
