sam, Upfront fee companies list your timeshare in their computers, that's all they do, they do not market them.

You can list your timeshare here on Redweek or other listing sites with very little money involved. You'd be doing the same thing as the upfront fee reseller, BUT Redweek gets thousands of hits a day from people looking for timeshare sales and rentals ... this is the best marketing out there.

If you price it right it will more than likely sell. If you bought from the developer you will not get your money back. Resales usually bring 1/4 +- in the resale market of what you paid the developer.

With resales the market (buyer) sets the price of what he/she will pay for a given week.
