That is definitely cheaper and more effective than paying some of these cancel/exit/relief firms. That being said, what worries me is how you worded the last sentence. "[You] would have to pay $1800.00 upfront for them to begin legal paperwork." Is that a guarantee that they will take it back if you pay the upfront fee?
