We were told in no uncertain terms that we could rent our unused timeshare out for cash. They were very specific about this, and the paperwork said so as well. Unfortunately it was not true, and their excuse is that it’s a different company that rents it so they are not responsible. Not only was this part of the agreement untrue, but we also could not find ANY trades for our week. We’ve had good timeshares before, and I enjoyed being able to trade (RCI, for instance). Not here. The time here is not recognized as worth anything anywhere else. It IS a nice place to stay, but that’s it. Their timeshare presentation is all lies. Please, everyone, do not let them talk you into it. You’ll be sorry! Best thing is to not go there at all.
