Check the Redwishes, there were other ads for point rentals at lower prices than yours. I would suggest that if you are not successful, in renting your points or weeks that you deposit your points with your exchange company before your use year is up. You can get many weeks if you deposit non "red" week. I also suggest that you make your exchange deposits as a combination visible on line deposits and some off line deposits. That way you can search for vacation weeks using the computer. Good Luck. Stan.stanleyf5 wrote:christines79 wrote:Hi. List your property as Fairfield Kona Hawaiian Village with 434,000 points undivided interest. The price is up to you obviously, but I can buy 540,000 points on ebay for $8000.00 at this moment. Admittedly, not in Hawaii, but in Las Vegas and Arizona. Good Luck, Stan.We have 434,000 points to sell with the home resort being Fairfield Kona Hawaiian Village. I read somewhere that a competitive price would be 25% - 33% of what we paid which would be $12,540.00 at the 33% level. For you that have been using this site for a while, does that seem like a good price? Also, Do I list these points for sale under Timeshares for Sale or Rent or is there another place specific to points. Thanks for any input. Thanks, Stan, I have decided to rent these points for this year for .065 per point which would be 2821.00. Should I call Fairfield and get some confirmed weeks and then post the weeks or just put the entire 434,000 for rent and the renter can choose where they want to go. Thanks for the help. I am new and just want to get this done.
Since you are in a position to make a reservation at Kona up to 13 months ahead, why don't you reply to some of these folks we are hearing complain here that they can't get Hawaii via RCI? You can also post "to rent" on Redweeks leaving the dates open. And don't forget to check out the Red Wishes for folks looking for Aloha time!
