Hi Bill:

My husband and I own three timeshares and it is our view that you should buy a timeshare in a location that you would not mind going to every year. My experience has been that it is not as easy to trade as you would think. We were at the Frenchmen's Reef in the Virgin Islands in January. I told this to the salesman and he said to me "boy you really understand this whole concept." But that's just my opinion. He then told us a story about someone who bought in Branson and thought they would go there every 3 years or so (trade the other years) and then laughed.

Thanks for the reply. We own two weeks at MVCI Ko Olina - Hawaii and bought there, as you say own we're you want to stay. Getting accurate information from sales is very hard because of the sales pressure. I'm currently hearing from sales that all MVCI property's are all red when it comes to trading between MVCI resorts.
