Re: How to get rid of a timeshare you no longer want .... (by Ann T.):
susanj37 I have week 27 at Beach Quarters in Va. Beach. I love the place, but hate the week. I really wanted week 32 or 33 (3rd week in Aug.) but as someone said, a slick salesman and boom I have week 27. I really love it there, but have been trying to exchange it with no luck. I really don't want to sell it because I can't afford to take a beating...I am trying to sell it for 11,000....does that sound high? I have been researching sites as well and there are TONS of people who will gladly do the "work" for me but at a steep price. Any suggestions would be greatly apprecia
I just donated mine to charity. Mine was at Ocean Sands Va Beach 22&Atlantic. Since then I've been trying to find out what they go for for tax deduction purposes and you can see them for sale at this site. Not sure how much it is to list a sale or rental but you could check it out. http://www.MyResortNetwork.com. They show you once they're sold but don't show how much people got for them. Grrrr. Does anyone know where to find that type of info out. I doubt the resort would tell me since they try to sell them for 12k and up.
