I have contacted the developer and also the resale market and need some help understanding the information. The developer says: buy through us and you get.... 1. Marriot points system when you stay with them to be used at other resorts within Marriot. 2. access to individual at Marriot travel to assist in planning vacations 3. Other points which do not make much difference

Buying resale what do you get... 1. Property most likely cheaper than if purchased through developer 2. Do you have ability to purchase membership at RCI and Interval if desired? 3. Do you have ability to transfer the "marriot points" or rewards from originbal owner to new owner?

What other benefits are available or what disadvantages am I missing....
