If I rent from an owner, can I purchase one of the Disney Dining plans?

Just putting my two cents in. The Disney Dining Plan is one of the best things we ever did when we visited. The food was absolutely delicious and we all enjoyed it. Just a reminder, if you buy a child’s plan, they are served from a different menu. ( at least it was like that when we went.) For older children, this might not make them happy. (by Barbara P.):
