I didn't read this entire thread, but I do recall Cindy (a Real Estate Broker) on tug mentioning that some timeshare rsorts fefused o allow trades or exchanges unless contracted with the HOA.

I don't know what could be in Declaration of Condominium (or other condo rules) that might cause this, or allow it to even be enforced.

(Its your owned deeded week).

I'm sure Jay Jay might also have seen that thread (was really a complaint).

Might be wrong, but just a caution.
